Well we've gotten our first rejection letter -- thought it might be fun to chronicle them! This is one that Kris got today for a part-time job she applied for a couple of weeks ago.
Even if this job would have panned out we don't know how we would have mustered our schedule with the time slots they needed so maybe it's all for the best. Still, it's never fun getting a reject letter.
I've got several applications in process at this point myself with a couple of different companies. Work is really kind of starting to wind down now so things are getting slow and I'm getting a lot more eager to find something. We'll keep you posted.

If I was the Presidentress of a library and Kris applied, I would most likely send a letter that said "Thank you for applying. You're CLEARLY the most incredible librarian EVER and we'll pay you 5 million dollars just to shelve our books." Just so you know...
