Sun!!

The sun came out today. That hasn't happened since last Saturday, and then we were too sick to appreciate it. So today we raked some leaves and went bike-riding around the lake -- a lot of benches and stuff around the lake is in the water now though, it is easily the highest I've ever seen it. Beautiful day, all the trees are bright orange and yellow and red. There are about 2 or 3 perfect days like this every year.

Yesterday's interview went pretty well, I think, I'll find out next week I guess if I get interviewed yet again. Wow I really am getting tired of interviewing though. I feel like I need a vacation from job-hunting or something. Though being unemployed has its perks -- this week I wore the same shirt and pants 3 days in a row, a new record. This would be a good job though and I have friends at this place so odds are fairly good -- so far there have been about 2 things prior to this that I've been pretty disappointed to not get, and everything else I could take it or leave it. Seems for every 3 jobs you check out, 1 is really good and 2 are just kind of, eh.

Belle is gone now and Sparky is top dog once again, and Doodoo is lounging around on the main floor all day again. Everything's back to normal except there's a Volvo in the garage and an SUV in the driveway -- we're car-sitting until Susie and Mom get back from their trips, which is a great deal less demanding than caring for an active puppy.
