Buried Treasure

So we've been following the treasure hunt for the St. Paul Winter Carnival medallion this week, because it's been looking lately like it's in Como Park, a few blocks from our house.

Yesterday after Mira's art class was out we took Sparky out to the park to snoop around. There were millions of footprints everywhere, and little groups of people scattered here an there across the park trying to figure out all the clues.

The problem of course is that the park is enormous and the clues really haven't narrowed the spot down enough yet. For example, one of the more specific clues refers to a bridge but there are at least 5 bridges scattered across the park and all of them are close to something else that other clues could be referring to. Mirs wants to look again today so we'll probably go out there again. Sparky really had fun coming with us yesterday, it's the first time in weeks it's been warm enough for him to be outside for any length of time.
