This week Mirs participated in school Science Fair for the first time (optional for 3rd graders). She decided to make her experiment an intelligence test for Sparky. Basically we would put treats in, under or behind certain types of barriers and see if he could figure out a way to get at them. In most cases it only took a few seconds, but there were some things he just couldn't figure out, like how to get at a biscuit that's hidden under an upside-down cup, or inside a coffee can that his head won't fit into.
Kris has been working non-stop on her class again trying to sort out what kind of topic to use for her next paper and how to do it. Work was busy but I got a lot of stuff done, some of it stuff that nobody else could do and will make life easier for the co-workers so that was good. Other aspects of work life aren't looking too great just because of the environment we're in, but there's not too much I can do about that right now.
Kris has class all day today and Mirs is sick so we're probably not going to do anything too ambitious this weekend, but hopefully we can get outside a little bit and enjoy the 40+ degree weather. Snow's almost gone!
