Early this week we dug out the jumpropes from the closet and Mira's been becoming a rope-jumping expert in the evenings. She's doing backwards jumprope, speed-jumping, trying to break her old records, etc.
This week has been just nuts at work. I put 350-400 miles on the car from Monday to Friday and had only about half a day at my own desk. Fieldwork is fun but I feel bad burning so much gas. I've developed a very light foot on the freeway though and am up to 34+ mpg now vs. 28 mpg when we first got the car in December.
Kris turned in her big paper for class last Saturday and is already wondering what in the world she's going to write her final paper about. Sounds like the class has weeded out quite a few people already.
