Free At Last

Well the old job is done as of Friday. I had work to wrap up right to the end too but now I'm done and outta there. Monday I start my new job and I'm pumped! 7800 miles on the car's odometer since we got it in December and now all the commuting is over with, along with having to fly places. I've learned I'm really not an airport person -- I can tolerate it for vacations, but flying for work just has no real redeeming qualities about it.

Tuesday Kris starts classes again and she's kind of stressed about it. Hasn't even had the first class yet and already there was homework to download from the college's website. This is gonna make the rest of the summer feel awfully 'busy'.

Last weekend we had Mira's birthday party at the water park in Eagan, was a nice day for it. Girls had lots of fun, some of the highlights are below. Mira was wearing her new anti-sunburn swim outfit, we got the idea from people we saw in Mexico when we were all dealing with sunburned necks and shoulders.
