A 'sun dogs' apparition this frigid morning -- see the far right and left edges of the picture, behind the trees, where you see visual 'echoes' of the sun's image created by ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.
3 mornings ago saw a complete solar halo when I got to work, managed to snap a shot of that one with a small film camera I have, don't know how it'll turn out though.
