So it turns out that after getting another carload of stuff out of the house I also inadvertently got rid of Mira's good bike helmet. Whoops. I guess I'm going to be buying a helmet in the next few days.
Been a lot of playing outside now with the temperatures getting into the 80's. Mira always wants to play hide-and-tag (her invention) in our yard, the alley and around the block. I'm starting to find it harder to play these games, at least for very long.
It's supposed to be hotter tomorrow, geez we're barely into May and I'm probably gonna have to put the air conditioners in already. I had really hoped to have 1 or 2 months of cheap utilities after the big heating season before we have to fork over the dough for the electricity for the air conditioners already. The mean annual temperature here is, what, 52 degrees or so -- but we probably only actually see that temperature about 3 days out of the year.
