Career-Change Dreams

So last night I had this dream that we decided to try chicken farming. But it didn't go very well. We just had this one little chicken coop with 2 or 3 chickens in it. In fact, it went so badly that I was looking at the deed to the chicken farm and thinking I would take it to Goodwill to donate.

Dreams are funny how they piece together goofy little bits of your life. I mean, there's the obvious job-change theme that's kind of hovering over everything right now (the deed to the chicken farm was even a 'pink slip'). But the chicken coop itself looked just like the little old rabbit hutch that I used to keep my Flemish Giants in when I was a kid.

Anyway I know people are asking what the job situation is, I'm looking that's really about as far as it is right now -- there's still 3 months until the End Date (8/15/07) when I get cut loose and receive my parting gifts -- so there is time. There seem to be some good risk analysis positions in St. Paul down by the river that would be right up my alley so I'll check into those. It would be nice to be able to work in St. Paul.

Paul - Chickens are stinky and dirty, don't you have anything else in mind. How about angora rabbits. They are cute, fluffy and you can lay them on the legs, pull out the fur from their belly's which they are losing anyway and spin it into yarn and send it to me and I would knit you something wonderful. Just a thought!!

Actually the comment was to lay the rabbits on their backs on "your" legs......
