I mean really, does it have to be 90+ degrees every freaking day?
It's been a pretty sweaty week of bike-riding. Meanwhile, with school out for the summer, the inflatable pool has been getting a good workout back on the patio with the kids. I call Kris from work and I just hear lots of screaming and splashing in the background. There's been some form of swimming each of the last 3 days. Today I think they went to the Y so Kris finally got some relief in the swimming pool too.
This heat is taking it out of me. I really haven't been getting my weightlifting in this week. Just don't have the energy. Weights are too heavy. It would be easier if they were lighter.
Speaking of energy, we just had our first sub-$100 utility bill of the year, that always feels good after months of those $200-$350 heating bills in the winter. And as stereotypical green tree-hugger types this year we signed up for the Windsource program where for a few extra pennies per kilowatt-hour you can get your wattage purchased off the wind-generation grid. Costs like $8 a month gross, but the kicker is then you don't have to pay the fuel cost surcharge when the cost of fuel skyrockets, so the net cost this month was actually only $2.62. If fuel goes up much more the cost will be negative. It's cheaper than installing solar panels at any rate.
I guess I should go to bed. I turned off the AC and I'm starting to sweat all over the computer.

Okay the visual of you sweating all over the computer is lovely. Maybe you need of those bib kind of things to soak up the water, kind of like drool bibs.
(Just kidding)
