Well after weeks of stalking, Doodoo finally cornered the little mouse again -- and actually caught him! Then she carried him out to the center of the kitchen, LET HIM GO, and walked over by the cupboard and waited for him to move. He sat their for a second or two, then he made a break for it toward the radiator, but Doodoo caught him just before he made it under. THEN she carries him in her mouth again, back into the dining room to the corner where she originally cornered him, and let him go AGAIN!
Well, I figured by now this little guy had had a bad enough day, so I caught him in a towel and took him outside so he could maybe join Itchy and Scratchy, the two mice living out in the composter, but he launched himself out of the towel before I got that far and scurried across the yard.

So who is the sadist in your house that has been training the cat?
It wasn't me, I was floored when I saw her do this! Also was amazed at just how totally undamaged the mouse was. She was carrying him carefully, probably to get maximum play value out of him.
laughing out loud -- maximum play value, indeed! Cats are crazy!
