Mind Games

A few nights back Mira clobbered me at chess and she wanted to play scrabble after that. She thought it would be more fun if we just dispensed with the English language and made up our own words.


In other news, Kris had her birthday yesterday -- unfortunately she had to work the donate-a-book table at school that evening and I had to go to Mira's parent-teacher conference so we didn't have chance to celebrate proper, and probably won't for a few days yet. But she did have a chance to open her new iPod and play with it last night.
