The Artist

This is Mira's latest work from her art class. My kid did this! It's a water-color, of, well, a Tweety Bird. Not traced or anything, she did the inking and painting all herself, getting all the proportions right, etc. The class is pretty rigorous -- they do a sketch or whatever and then try to find 5 mistakes, then 10, 15, etc. Next week she'll start an original work (that is, not an existing character or scene).
