Last Night's Eclipse

We had a clear view of a very nice total lunar eclipse last night between 8:00pm and 11:00pm -- I snapped a few pictures with the digital camera (just telephoto, not through-the-scope). Mirs & I poked out heads out the back porch door to look every 45 minutes or so -- but it was too #$% cold to actually set up the telescopes and hang out back there watching. I had more appetite for such pain when I was 20 years old but not today. The images in sequence are: Full moon just before eclipse (top left), entering Earth's shadow (top right), mid-totality (bottom left), and leaving Earth's shadow (bottom right).

We watched too. It was awesome -
a reward for this crazy weather
but I think we are headed in the
right direction temperature wise now.

Your pictures are beautiful!
