Winter Blahs

This weekend is supposed to be cold. We're into February, around here this is usually the 3rd or 4th month of winter, when winter starts to feel a little long in the tooth and you're ready for the seasons to change again, but then you realize that there's still, like, 2 solid months of winter left to go. Maybe 3. I tend to get stir crazy and ornery by mid-February. Then my boss calls from Georgia and tells me its 74 degrees down there.

Kris is moving along in her library class, she's been busy having to study, study, study. Mira's still going to her art class on Saturdays, a few weeks ago they had their 3rd grade musical presentation, and now they have to pick topics for a science project to work on for the next month.

It's busy and cold and it feels like we all need a vacation or something! We've been looking at different vacation & travel spots trying to start planning -- naturally we're kind of gravitating towards warm spots, though if vacation is in July it's not the same sort of escape.

We should just hibernate, that would be the smart and cheap way to handle this.

Can so relate - is snowing and its beautiful snow falling slowly and gently, but I'm so totally sick of
winter, I could scream -- and the
snowy roads and just all of it....
such a pita.

And its not like there isn't stuff to do - there is - just no incentive plan to do it --
excellent photo of the bank -- let
me know if it really works.
