So my sister Leslie sent us this impossible puzzle of birds -- just has 4 different kinds of birds on it, in different arrangements on every square. The puzzle has only 9 pieces so it looks "easy". It isn't. I couldn't figure it out after several maddening attempts. Our kid genius Mira solved it twice while I was at work.

I'm ashamed, Dan's not but he should be. We spent hours looking at that goofy thing, moving pieces, saying things you shouldn't say when you think you have it right but the last piece doesn't fit.
Congratulations Mira -- Now let see if your Dad can do it.
